Catamaran Radar launches shortly. We collect used sailing catamaran listings every day from 28 portals and dealer websites, calculate the cost to get each boat ready to sail and assess the model and the individual boat against fixed, verifiable rules. At present 4.045 listings and 161 models are recorded (as of 03.11.2026).

What you get

1 · Model suggestion – free of charge

You describe your plans in your own words, our AI asks about what is missing. You see the models that fit – with a short assessment, suitability and price range – and choose.

2 · Shortlist

Up to ten of the best-fitting available boats of your models, with an assessment, realistic purchase price, total costs and main risks – and, for each boat, the link to the listing and to the pre-purchase review.

3 · Pre-purchase review per boat

The full report for the boat you are interested in: costs, negotiation range, inspection brief for the surveyor, your e-mail to the seller, shipyard photos and layout – from the shortlist or for a listing you have found yourself.

What every pre-purchase review contains

  • Comparison with your purchase requirements: budget, cabins, length, cruising area, plans
  • Total costs up to readiness for sea: negotiated purchase price, VAT, repairs, equipment, delivery
  • Negotiation range based on the price development of comparable boats
  • Main risks, recalls and documented weaknesses of the model
  • Survey brief for the surveyor and your e-mail to the seller in German and English
  • Estimated resale price at the end of your holding period

What comes next

  • Launch of the website with a free model suggestion and ordering
  • Customer account: access your purchase requirements and reports at any time
  • Search companion: notification of new matching boats and of price reductions
